Introduction

Background Changer is a software designed to simplify switching between different custom backgrounds for CS:GO.

58 Backgrounds are pre-installed!

This software is safe to use and is completely VAC safe.

How to use

1 Unzipping folder

Unzip the folder (CSGO BG Changer [by yonka]) and start the file CSGO_BG_Changer.exe

2 Background demo

To view the background (in the program) select the background which you want to view from the list.

3 Apply background (Install)

To select and install the selected background, press the green “Apply Selected Background” button, to view the background in CS:GO you must to change the background to “Pheonix Facility (in settings).
CS:GO must be turned off when changing background.

4 Add backgrounds

To add a background, press the green “+” button. (only .webm file extension supported!)

5 Remove background

To delete a background from the Background Changer, you need to select it from the background list and then press the red “X” button.

6 Return default background

To return the default background, press the “Reset Background” button, if nothing changed, you should restore the local files of CS

6.1 How to restore local files of CS:GO

1. Launch Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files… button.
4. Steam will verify the game’s files - this process may take several minutes.

1.1 Main

The main window is consisting of a list view representing your current Background list. These backgrounds can be applied to CS:GO.

At the bottom of the window is CS:GO Path manager as well as a button to restore to the default CS:GO backgrounds, button to change display language, button to reload the list of the backgrounds, button to open the folder of the backgrounds in the explorer and button to see additional information about Background Changer.
You can also hover over “unnamed” button to get information about the button.
